Until I went looking for photos for a different photo story, I didn't realise just how many photos of bikes I had. The first half of the images are taken in Europe and the second half of images are taken in various locations across Asia. What is apparent is that the humble bike, pedal or motorized, seems to have a greater significance in Asia.
In Europe, the bike is used far more for leisure or small trips to the shops, rather than being the primary mode of transport. Conversely, in many Asian countries bikes are definitely the transport workhorse, with some people even running a business off the back of theirs. And what some riders manage to balance on their two wheels is truly astounding!
